Not the work. Opinions, arguments, and the things that followed me home and refused to leave. Nothing on this page has been cleared by anybody.

Everywhere else on this site I am careful. I source the figures, I state the drawbacks, I write the limitation into the document before somebody else can produce it against me. That is the right way to do policy work and I would not change a line of it.

This is the other page. Here I get to be a person with a view.

There is no publication schedule. Nothing here will be quietly edited or backdated. When I am wrong I will say so in a new entry rather than tidying up an old one, because the record of having been wrong is worth more than the appearance of never having been.
